Our school uses Class Dojo to reward children for their positive choices and behaviour in Years 1 to 6. Parents are invited to join (it is a downloadable app) and sent a link for their child's class. We use the messaging and sharing service on Class Dojo to keep parents up to date with what is happening in class. If you are not already connected please ask your child's teacher about this.
The most important thing you can do at home to support your child's learning is to read with them every day. You can read to them, listen to them read to you, and ask them questions about the book you are reading. You can read the books they bring home from school, their Bug Club books, or books you have at home. Reading - in any language - helps a child to learn in many important ways.
As well as their daily reading and weekly homework, the school pays for subscriptions to a number of programmes that you can access at home. Use the links below to access these - your child should know their log on details, but if they need these again please ask their class teacher.
We use Google Classroom for learning both at school and at home, including for homework and special projects. Your child has a log on and password which their teacher shares with parents and carers. You can send a message to the teacher on Class Dojo if you need this to be re-sent.
