At Cubitt Town, we put wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. We know that successful children feel safe and ready to learn. We encourage children to talk about their feelings and we use the zones of regulation to support children in doing so.
We also have a peace path which children use when they have disagreements on the playground. As an oracy school, our teachers take every opportunity to get children to discuss their emotions and we have an experienced pastoral team who regularly support children with their feelings and emotions.
THEWS is a service in Tower Hamlets which helps to improve wellbeing for children and young people.
We have an education wellbeing practitioner available in our school on a Tuesday. We will also provide workshops throughout the academic year. We hosted a welcome coffee morning in September and an Anxiety Workshop in October. Please see below the slides from both events.
THEWS has three key aims:
Contact our Wellbeing Team via the School Office or Class Dojo who will help you to fill in a referral form to access the service.
